Your role will include:

  • Qualifying new enquiries before introducing them to our sales team.

  • Helping our sales team with the post-booking support process.  

  • Liaising with our supplier partners to ensure the highest service levels are achieved for our guests.

  • Interacting with our guests by answering questions, providing additional support and ensuring they have a seamless experience leading up to their trip departure.

  • Interacting with our sales and finance teams to ensure every detail of a trip booking is covered.

  • Ensuring that the lodges, trips and experiences recommended on our website, and guest communications, are of the highest standard and meet our brand criteria.

  • Keeping up to date with developments across our destinations including new lodges and hotels, health advice, changes of management and flight connections.

  • Helping to shape the Timbuktu brand and create the best company to book with in travel!

Who you might be:

  • You are knowledgable and love all things travel.

  • You might be experienced in travel, but this is a bonus and not required.

  • You have an amazing attention to detail.

  • You have capacity to embrace change as we pioneer the new way to discover and book trips.

  • You are passionate about working with people and customer service.

  • You have the ability to think quickly on your feet, calmly defusing problems as they arise.

  • You have a desire to make exploring remote places easier for everyone.
